About the Artist

This is me, Pam Avery, creator of Ornament Alley. Here I am with my husband of 10 years, Rea (Ray). I have lived in Washington state all my life. I have been interested in art since a young age, and have made a living in the early 80's as a sign painter. I was then sidetracked for 10 years when I went to work for Coke, then Pepsi. I worked at Pepsi for 9 years, but just wasn't fulfilled creatively. I knew there was something inside that I needed to do, but what?

It was about this time I was offered a job at a local gift manufacturer "Hearts & Flowers" where I began to design giftware. That was exciting and with the extra time I found I had, I began to make these ornaments, and have flourished ever since. They give me the satisfaction that I have craved since I can't remember when.
